The review is as snarky and clueless to the subject matter as any other review of a comic-book/action oriented review I've ever seen. Bashing the name of the Foot Clan--as well as a failure to mention the multiple comic iterations at all-- shows where this "cinema" snob's head is.
But this line here: "loud, incoherent anti-entertainment", was what a lot of folks said about TransFormers 2. And that kind of product, is what Michael Bay is all about.

He deserves to lose money for this. When I saw the trailer, I nearly lost my lunch.

Yeah, that paper has its share of asshole commentators, but still this film never should have been made.

I like the new big bulky organic CGI visual design - but as for the story .... no. I stick with the animated serieses fro mthe 80's and the early 2000's.

Didn't expect nothing great after seeing this movie. Michael Bay just needs to stop making movies and leave certain franchises alone. I've never really liked TMNT as there's to much inconsistencies in there stories, TV shows, or movies.

I still prefer the 2012 Animated Series on Nick.

In all honesty I hope both TMNT and Transformers 4 win Razzy awards because there both terrible.

I went through about fifteen reviews to get a sense of this movie. Sounds like it suffers from too much focus on Megan Fox, who I'll admit I have trouble picturing as April. Deals in a lot of cliched fight scenes, and tries to force little twists that don't need to be there and don't add to the movie. Much as I'd like to lay this on Michael Bay I think the real problem is that the script didn't give a lot to work with.

I already saw a TMNT movie, about 15 years ago.

Michael Bay made the turtles look like shrek and I think Shredder looks like a transformer in this version. This is as bad as making Han shoot second.

2 things brewed this disaster since the movie was announced: Michael Bay and Nickelodeon
The trailer was disturbing, and only saw the short one, could not keep my mind off the fact they got lips. I mean, even a Koopa Troopa resembles a turtle way much better than these, they look like humanoid aliens. Even Jhonen Vasquez complained over the lips! (Not to forget that he mentioned that if making a live action movie is the way Nickelodeon rewards success, he is glad Invader Zim was cancelled)
I dunno, I dunno, this movie was doomed since day 0. I am really not planning to see it

I think this new TMNT film will probably be terrible just from the trailers I have seen.
