Ten Thoughts Of Mine Concernine Mega Evolution (EDIT)

kompyBecause this is the Pokemon account and I need to do more poke-talk in it.
So in no specific order:
1) The concept of Megas has grown on me, especially since I see them more from an artist's perspective and consider them an interesting challenge to draw, be they feral or anthro.
2) That said, I want more excuses to draw Megas (like for my 100 Palettes Challenge perhaps, hint hint?).
3) Just like I have a hard time nowadays thinking up Pokemon I like the most/least, the same applies to Mega pokemon. If anything, I just mentally rate the challenge level in drawing any of them, be it in furry or (especially) anthro form).
4) I have yet to train a Mega-evolving pokemon for my main game; I didn't play around with the concept until post-game in Y. I might do so in Alpha Ruby, though. Current candidates are Mega Sceptile, Mega Mawile and maybe raise that shiny Beldum you get in OR/AS so I can have Mega Metagross, though that depends on if you get it during the main game or post-game.
5) Am I the only one who *doesn't* think Mega Lopunny is all that sexualized compared to the original? True it has those leg patterns and all, but I just see a gymnast. And while I won't deny that a gymnast can be very sexy, that doesn't really mean it's sexual, you know? I similarly don't see it being any more feminine than regular Lopunny, either. This shouldn't surprise most of you, though, as I have a extreme fondness for pokemon that break typical human stereotypes (I'd go into more detail on that in a later journal if I knew anyone cared what I thought on that).
6) I recently got myself a Mega Stone pendant in real life from Trinketgeek, specifically the Aerodactylite-colored one.
7) That reminds me, should draw Mega Wynn sometime, as well as several other of my own characters who now have Mega forms. Which reminds me...
8) DEAR NINTENDO, GIVE ME MEGA LUXRAY, PLEASE. WANNA DRAW CHARLA AS ONE SO BAD. THROW IN SOME FOR FARFETCH'D, SKUNTANK, CRESSELIA AND CHATOT WHILE WE'RE AT IT.
9) Because I know someone will say it: Yes I WOULD draw CeeGee as a Mega if her species got one, along with her as Porygon2 and PorygonZ. I actually HAVE drawn these already long ago (Minus the Mega of course), they just never got scanned. Because they weren't good sketches and also because I am lazy :P
10) I'm going to make this clear: I am *never* going to draw any fanmade Megas, either my own or others. Why? Because if I draw a Mega and that pokemon ends up getting a real Mega down the line, either I'll lament how bad mine is compared to the real deal OR I will dislike the real one to an uncertain degree while lamenting the "loss" of my beautiful creation. Frankly, I don't need that kind of stress in my life, I have other dumb things to stress over already :P

SECONDING THIS. And heck, I think I had a Raichu character once, would give me an excuse to dig 'em out again...
But it was enough to make me stammer and go "DO WANT".

Only Mega form I don't like so far is the Salencense. Uh... the thing that looked like a standard dragon, before being evolved into... mega dragon sperm with wings? That one confuses me why it loses it's arms and legs.
But fine, if you must know....
...Mega Pelipper and Mega Lapras :P
