I see streaming artists somehow select only the area they want to color within their lines. I don't know how they do it. If I knew it'd make coloring SO MUCH easier!

If it helps, here is my process:

Draw it -> Scan it -> Open in image editor (atm it's Photoshop CS5 but eventually will get Krita) -> Pen tool to redo ALL the lines (different parts get their own layer) -> Color -> Shade -> DONE!


Right now I do a quick fill in with the brush tool when I start coloring, then tediously go around with the eraser tool and clean it up while zoomed in a lot.

...THAT is why I want to know how the hell you guys do it!
