i was amazed at all of the elements that made me cheer, cry laugh and more considering the plotline of the story. the main storyline is that death started an academy for training meisters and their weapons to preserve the balance between good and evil. a kishin is an individual who became so obsessed with power that they would devour the souls of innocent humans. kishin eggs are souls of those who have not yet awakened into kishins but devour souls in search of great power. in turn of doing this the would lose themselves to madness beyond their comprehension.
