So this morning the cable people came to my parents' house to install a DVR box. But he had issues installing it. And after he left, I tried using it just to test. But the thing kept telling me 'DVR is unavailible or not installed.' I'd hit record as I was instructed, and it would say recording. But trying to change the channel while recording gave the message 'VCR recording blah blah blah'. So I'm fairly certain the DVR is having an identity crisis and thinks it is a VCR.

Then I went to comcast to cancel the service from my old apartment. I had left the apartment, but left the equipment there as I was sharing an account with another tenant and figured he may get the rest of the time to use it. But now going back to Comcast, they can't cancel my service I don't return the stuff. And going back to the apartment, the boxes aren't there. I'll need to call my landlady and find out what she did with them.

And lastly I went to talk to a realty agent about possibly getting a condo. There are some places I like. But my new job, while it pays well is still quite part time. So I probably won't be able to get a mortgage.

*sigh* Just frustrating to be dealing with it all.
