Opening up some more, and Furry Confessions
11 years ago
I'm still opening myself up to FurAffinity. Seems like I'm pretty shy around here. I did manage to get up to 3 submissions posted. So I think that's a start. And getting more used to drawing.~
Though I guess I gotta be honest... a lot of the artwork I check out on this site I've noticed is basically stuff including weight gain, inflation, or even gas (belly hunger growling, burps, farts, bloating). And... I guess I wanna try that stuff too? Feels so weird for me to admit that. I guess I was always afraid people would look at me strangely. But then again, I'm far from a normal kind of guy. xD But yeah, cat is out of the bag. I guess I really am into that stuff. I'm not entirely sure how to explain why though.
I initially was planning to draw a bunch of pics of my pokesona doing a lot of my favorite hobbies, I guess to help represent myself. But I found myself very impatient, and so I went ahead and drew a pic of myself all fat after eating a lot (has yet to be colored and uploaded). It's weird, I'm not sure how to explain it. But not gonna lie, drawing it was pretty fun and felt pretty satisfying.
The world of Furries still feels very new to me. I'm still learning things and figuring out how everything works. It would be cool to be more familiar with everything, and seeing if that can lead to new friendships, that would possibly work in new ways I never knew about.
I do love how everyone has the cartoony animal look to them. It really gives off a feel which I best love to describe as cute yet badass at the same time. It fills me with much joy.
Another thought I've had recently was possibly giving myself a fursona that wasn't a pokemon. I mean, I've always been big on reptiles like dragons, lizards, crocodiles, etc. So a pokemon like Charmander was a big deal to me, and I felt he best represented me. Though as far as non-Pokemon animals go... I did often find myself being associated with a dragon or a tanuki. Maybe I should be a tanuki-dragon hybrid? lol.
The thought of having a non-Pokemon fursona was the result of thinking that maybe it'd be best if I branch out more. Maybe I'd discover more in the furry world, if I covered real-life animals (technically dragon and tanuki are mythological) and fictional animals like Pokemon, Digimon, etc.
Drawing-wise, I guess the one thing I'm having a lot of trouble with is trying to draw my characters in an angel. It's tricky. Especially when it comes to different shaped heads (like a Charmander).

To why I went with a Koopa just wasn't for there appearances, but other traits they follow up then being shy. At moments if something is very weird to me, I'll be very shy and won't talk in sentences like this until I'm used and know someone more. Before then, I'm as shy as a Koopa who'll hide in his shell until the ghost is clear. Either way, I welcome you to FurAffinity. The home of all the furies, scales, Digimon, and even Pokemon where everybody loves to show off there fetishes to each other. Mostly in art, music, story telling, and... Other traits that go along with that.
During your journey, you may come across some moments to improving on your work. If that need ever strikes your heart to where you want to get better, you should check out some tutorials on the website. Click up to the search bar, and look up tutorials. There's thousands to help in any kind of sticky situation, or to better your works faster and improve on.
With all that, I hope we become good friends and so far. I see that already coming across from our met.
Thanks for the suggestions too! Drawing is very difficult for me hahaha. I'm actually more of a writer/storyteller.
Yeah I hope the same too dude!! You're technically the second-ish person on here whom I've really talked to, hahaha. ^__^
I have still much to why I've became a Koopa, but it'll be paragraph on top of paragraph of a sheet. Quite a load if you ask me. ^.^
