One way you could find out might be to hold some YCH ladder auctions and let your fans bid for your work and then figure out what the average is after a number of those auctions, ( say 4 or 5 ) are done.

If you are reasonably quick and your style is attractive to potential bidders then you could realize more then you think.

Hmm...I went ahead and filled it out, though I think I'm one of the one's that'll skew the curve. See, I hero worship people that can art (in the tradition sense), and I make a quite comfortable amount of money, so those combine into me being willing to pay for what I want. And I've always been willing to pay for quality, so...I think I might skew it a bit. That said, I'm pretty inexperienced with art and it's prices, so maybe I'm OK. Having only commissioned a couple things, I'm just lost on pricing - but my opinions are in there. Very interested to see the results, also...
