My journey will have to wait. I discovered a new world this morning...

And it was right under my feet.

I was heading south, to get on with my grand ol' adventure, when a girl stopped me. She told me that I didn't look like I had an explorer's kit, and that I should stop by the house beside the Pokemon center to pick one up. Quite frankly, I didn't give a damn at the time, but she and her boobs were very persistent.

I think I may be subject to hypnosis.

At any rate, I found the house and met an old man, who was apparently the first one to discover the Underground. Now, I've heard of the Underground, a series of tunnels that runs beneath all of Sinnoh, but I really didn't care. My adventures, I thought, would remain above it, earning badges and catching Pokemon.

But here I am now, in my own underground base. I met Roark down here by chance, and he helped explain a lot of things about the underground for me. I found a few others down here, hammering at the walls and prying out glittering stones, only to turn around and plant them in the ground. I really didn't understand it all until I was given the ability to make my own home down here.

It's awesome!

I've spent hours down here, prying crystals out of the wall and planting them so they'd grow like roots, creating a glittering path leading up to my home. It's humble, of course, a table, a chair, an empty bookshelf, and a computer, but I got a few little plush dolls to give the place a bit of flavor. I have a Buneary sitting on top of a Piplup. It's so adorable I have to check and see if I'm not turning gay.

But aside from the stones and the other trinkets I dug from the walls, I found something much more interesting. A round, hard rock with a smooth dome and a ring of spikes around the base. It's pretty neat, and I think it might be a fossil!

Once I get back to the surface, maybe I can find someone to identify it for me.
