So, as you all remember, last week I had a very weird Twitter bug that caused me to make a new account.
Over the course of all this, I met one other user who had the same problem. They tweeted me this morning to say it was fixed, and sure enough upon logging into my old account, it was.
It has been fixed for a few hours now, so it's probably fixed for good. However I am still a bit wary of it, as it seems to have been a bug that was only effecting a very very small subset of users. I'm not sure if Twitter fixed it, or they're still troubleshooting and it appears fixed right now.
It is a bit strange, though, since all of this happened last Thursday at approximately the same time.
So, I'm going to give it 24 hours before I go back to my old account. I asked on Twitter for opinions, everyone said to make the new account a sort of "back-up" account and remain using the old one. It would be silly to throw the old one away, as it had over 1,000 followers and now has over 900. (Followers are important when you use Twitter as an outlet to advertise commissions!)
I am so sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused. D: I didn't even hear back from Twitter Support so I have no idea what happened!!

I would suggest following my old account that is now fixed, CupcakeHyena. My new account that I made when this all happened is still CupcakeCreature. If it's still fixed tomorrow, my old much loved account will be re-instated as CupcakeCreature and my new one will have a name like CupcakeBackup or something silly.I am so sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused. CupcakeCreature was the new account made out of panic thinking it would never be fixed. :P
I do have a personal Twitter already, but it's private.
