Exactly. I don't want to kick up a fuss because I avoid this person for personal reasons, but it's just.. nobody else who is seeing this is reacting to it.

WEhh. As much as I don't like it, I'm guilty of not wanting to start a fuss. I just don't patronize people like that and hope maybe other people will realize they're getting exploited one day and stop supporting people like that.

You know I would just love to call them out on it, but this is someone who I just.. don't want to be bothered by ever again. They've caused a lot of issues for me (which i'm still dealing with) and other people. I'd like to think that others will notice too, and soon.

Wooow really? If they used it for that game then that's awful. I don't understand how they're not plagued with guilt.

some people have no shame. so long as they get money from somewhere it doesnt matter to them so long as they have what they want. its tough since i often do try to help friends with this kind of stuff and often one loses a friend cause they show their true colors. but then again its best to lose a few bucks than to keep someone who will most likely make it a parasitic friendship.

They needed money for doctor visits and couldn't ever go and within 6 months they never went for lack of funds but bought adoptables constantly? And they posted a few journals about emergency adopt sales for cash but would buy some more and just //SIGH

Yep.. that sounds familiar. Unfortunately i'm aware of two people who claim to need money for some things that sounds quite serious, only for me to see them buying things a few days later. It just really appals me.

I had a scare last month and I sold designs that I really didn't want to let go of because real life commitments come before having things that I want but don't /need/.
I am as well.. but like you I go 'what if..' because i've been used before.

Ahh, yeah, I saw this. At least what I think you're talking about. I actually felt bad for them too, haha. It kind of frustrates me because I want to help people, but most days it feels like you have to ask "well, can you prove you really need the help?" and that just makes me feel gross. But I don't wanna see someone asking for help or asking for donations and then seeing them shell out money for designs. :/

Some people have some real addictions to adopts, like myself. But a shit ton of peeps let it go out of control.
Like man, I keep seeing this person on da asking for money, buying adopts, then reselling them right after. Like one they sold one barely 3 hours later wtf

And now you know why I skip every single journal about people needing money now. :/ It's just too easy for them to abuse that request. Like I've been watching someone for a while now, and they've been owing me some art for quite a while. But it seems like every week they post a 'need money or no food' type of journal, and then last week they ended up saying, 'bought a ton of books for only $60!' and it's like, wtf dude. How can you say you don't have money for food, but then you buy a ton of books.
