Enlisted
Well, after a long time of decision making and getting prepared ive finally decided to enlist in the Marine Corps. Took the oath on Friday. Ive thought about this hard and considered everything. This will be a good thing for me and Huski both. I know ill be gone for some time but when im through with training i will be able to support us better than now. Plus, my life needs a big change and i have alot to improve on with myself. I think the military can do that for me. Ill be shipping out in January so i will still be able to make MFF before i go. Not sure what im going to choose for my job but ive narrowed it down to Combat Support, Infantry, Motor Transport or Aviation support. I have about a week to decide.

Motor Transport or Aviation support sound like they actually got skills that will be valuable outside the military. Combat Arms hasn't taught me shit I can use except how to dig a hole and shoot a weapon.

I agree with the statement above. I'd try to go Aviation if you can, big bucks outside of the military and you're set for life. Either way, I'm happy for you sheppy butt, and welcome to the family <3

Be careful and think things through before you commit. It's not as safe and secure as some may think it is. Please contact me and get the REAL perspective before you make a decision.
