What a trip! I finally got around to going south, and the first thing out of the gate, I see this massive expanse of smooth, paved road. No doubt it made the bike shop a lot of money, as I saw tons of people riding through it. Some of them were even trainers, so I was able to get a few good battles in, too.

But the most fun I had was riding through it all with Serena in my lap. I don't think she cared too much for it at first, hugging my shirt and burying her face in my stomach. After a while, though, she started to get used to it, and eventually, even enjoyed it!

When we reached the end, a hot blond told me how cute she was, and how I should enter her in the Hearthome contest. I hadn't thought about participating in the same vein of training as my mother did, but doing what I'm not supposed to hasn't stopped me before!

Though I don't think cute is Serena's style. If nothing else, she's a tough little bunny.
