How about Shovel Knight? It's pretty nostalgic and challenging. I really liked the game.
That's about it for Steam sadly, but it's also on 3DS and Wii U.

Right now I've been playing Sanctum and Sanctum 2, owing to the sale. They're a tower defense/FPS hybrid, not too bad.
Space Engineers is a sandboxer, also pretty good but in-dev.
Of course I recommend Oblivion. If you've played the previous game (Morrowind) you might want to check out TESRenewal for the Morroblivion conversion, which is kind-of-sort-of completable.

And if you don't mind some shooter games, there is a silly one I like to play from time to time which is the worms series. Worms Revelution is a pretty fun one. You play as worms that are trying to kill one another and some of your weapons include things like the holy hand grenade (from Monty Python) to the granny or the exploding sheep. It is good for a laugh if nothing else.

I am yet to preorder the anniversary edition. Need to save up money. That and in September, there are a lot of games coming out that I want to get... Both on the computer and my other gaming systems. I am mostly upset that they don't have Fable 2 on there. I guess they never transferred it to the computer and I am not sure they are going to. And it was my favorite out of the three of them.

LOL! I don't often find people who have played worms before. Maybe sometime we can team up against the PC. Fair warning though, I am horridly out of practice and am more likely to blow myself up XD
