Someone ended up commissioning an artist who had the same prices as me but lower quality art. They asked people to post examples and of course I did but..
Like oh okay.
I understand that people can commission who they want but like.

My art isn't that bad ;w;
It's higher quality and the same price as the less experienced artist whyyyyy I'm a jerk but still whyyyyyy

It's not a huge deal and im not even that upset I'm just like "oh."
I tend to care more about unique styles than quality. (Though quality is important of course, it's just not the main thing that catches my interest). It's one of the reasons I don't keep up with a lot of popular artists. Their styles either resemble each other or just don't stand out to me.
Maybe that person was the same way. They just felt attracted to the person's style for some reason.
Don't let it bother you though. It's their loss, your art is wonderful!
