Some Common Questions I get in my Email.
Okay so I just thought to share a bit of enlightenment on a bit of an FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) of Myself, My Preferences, and Morals. I get a lot of the same questions regarding this all so I made this to throw it out there.
Question 1:
What is your opinion on the world today versus the past?
Answer:
Simply put. I am happy for the technological advancements, but Sad that things are misused so much.
Question 2:
How exactly do you deal with art theft of other people's art as well as your own art.
Answer:
That's a tricky question actually. There are a few ways that I personally deal with it and one of which is personally telling them to stop. I feel that it is ridiculous to continue an argument because I already know what they'll say. And even when it comes to my own art that they ACTUALLY KNOW is mine, wether they commissioned or not, call it their art and say I am the one who stole the art. And I have to force myself to post a video on YouTube or "Progress Shots" until they stop saying so. At this point if they persist, I end up calling on the Art sites Admins, and if still not resolved I will get the board of Art Directors of the nation to call them personally and tell them to stop. If it still continues I call the actual police of their country.
Because in my field of art, someone claiming they own a design, or a drawing itself of my own, I lose a good portion of possible income from the art or design.
Question 3:
How Long have you been drawing Professionally?
Answer:
to be honest I have been drawing Professionally for the past several years since June of 2008. At which Point I estimated my Yearly Income on my art and Gross Income from my art. The aswer to that was an astonishing amount as several of my drawings and concepts have made their way into games such as Guild Wars 2 or Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls.
Question 4:
What do you portrait in most of your art to those who don't know what art really is or have any knowledge of art.
Answer:
I would have to be very technical to easily say it out loud, but as I am limited to my time I have this to say:
Generalized Sci-fi that is set in a modernized world.
