mmmm, so I messed with shell variables on my mac. It is much better now.
The bus is moving very slowly and I finally had no more patience left so I pulled out my mac.
This weekend wasn't what I'd have liked it to be. It was productive but lonely. I had to do my micro board for the HC11.
So I basically soldered all day yesterday. Lead poisoning is bound to happen.
Saturday, I had to work. and that sucked, but I need the money so... yeah. I tried to book off a bunch of days for finals and holidays and I hope they
give me those days off.
Speaking of finals, I've got mine coming up pretty soon. I guess I'll have to study and do well on them. I really can't afford to fail anything else.
After work, I got home and climbed into bed. And then I wanted to talk to people, but no one was online. Alot of people were not online this weekend.
Or too busy to talk to me. I guess with finals that is to be expected but still... I miss you guys.
Some kid is drawing a house. And he isn't half bad either.
Man, I love ee. I know it isn't as fancy as emacs, but it isn't as hard to use either. I'm a freeBSD guy. It is my favourite operating system.
And it was the first *nix I ever used. ee was it's default commandline editor and I fell in love with how easy it was to use.
I do have emacs. And some day, I'll sit down and learn it. ...someday? psh! maybe I'll learn it in class today while I don't pay attention.
Oh, getting ee and emacs working was one of the things I did with the shell stuff I mentioned earlier. I'm always learning when it comes to *nix.
The soldering was actually very relaxing. I got to sit there and munch on cookies and drink many cappichinos while I did my work. Because we have to
program this board in future courses, I took my time on it and did it right. I have pictures on my server of how the board looks.
Oh, *sniffle* I seem to be sick. My throat is a little sore and my nose is runny when it isn't stuffed up. Part of this is probably due to the lead
fumes, but I was already feeling somewhat sick before so yeah.
Anyway, I need to transfer to my next bus and then I have to do class. I'll post this when I get a chance.
