Would you donate to a patreon run by me?
I've been considering making a patreon, but with how long the things I make take, I'm not sure it'd be worth it, or get enough supporters. Vore is kind of a niche thing, I'm not incredibly popular in the vore community, and I feel people won't want to donate very much per animation, even though they do take a ton of time to produce. I guess there is a semi-crowdfunding aspect to it where I can promise certain content based on total donations, which might get people donating, but I dunno! Currently, not many people donate. There have been a few very generous donations from certain people and just as few smaller donations. Ideally, I'd like to get more small donations straight through paypal. That would help me support myself while I spend time making these things. I'd also like to work on some larger projects and even games, but I can't justify it currently. I could charge for such a game, but I highly doubt I'd be making much more then I would from donations, since my audience is pretty small.
So I asks ya: Would you support a patreon run by me? If so, how much would you be willing to donate per animation? Be honest. I'm not going to go through the effort if it isn't going to be worth it. I want to keep making these types of animations, but I have to eat too, you know?
Bonus question: Would you buy vore-related games in the visual novel or point and click adventure genre? How much would you pay for such a game based on a 4 hour play time? Would you be at all interested in a story surrounding your vore, or would you prefer to get straight to the devouring? What sort of vore games would you pay for?
I'm trying to find a balance between my workload and being able to support myself. I do want to keep providing this sort of content, but it's so much work. If I can find something enough people would be happy to pay for, we'll all be happy. Yes, even the people who don't want to pay for it. Don't lie. You'll just pirate it and be just as happy as everyone else. DRM is a waste of time and I'll never use it. As long as I have enough happy customers, I'm good. If I was in this for the money, I'd target a larger market with plain old furry porn. :D

You could try to offer paypal incentives in lieu of using those sites through FA, Twitter, etc. (however the risk of piracy is still a bitch).
I guess the main thing is trying to get your animation idea/projects out there for people to be interested in- I know Eka's Portal is strictly vore related, if you don't have an account with them already.
But that's just ramblings from an explosive coon. ^^
You'd deserver more for your work, but if more people paid that then you'll be heading where you want to get.
Something easily available is also something that people are less likely to start sharing around. Low prices + a little bit of recognition can go a long way. A small ad in the right place could also make a lot of difference, vore is a relatively common thing.
I'm not really convinced by Patreon, people want something concrete in return for their money.
Animation isn't that full of a field in general in this community. I think with your proficiency it shouldn't be that hard to find some popularity. But I also feel animations and videos are easier to spread around than games, even ones that can be run in browser. How about taking advantage of flash videos? Those can be used here as well, not just youtube. You immediately have something to show and grab people's attention with, then they can download the game.
On a side note, I think more controlled and tightly directed action works better than more interactivity. The former shouldn't be sacrificed for latter, but having a bit of the latter can be really nice.
