See tho, that doesn't make sense to me when they have a thing that says a two person picture with a feral and anthro is only $50, It should be $100 not $160... but, I would like to stop talking about that, it's just pointless drama now.

So... why couldn't they just say that to begin with? Instead of blocking me and now saying I am harassing them and all their watchers or something.... hopefully I'm not harassing you by replying to your comments in my own journal... lol.
I also still don't see what the difference in their art of "soft shading" and "hard color" I only see one type in their submissions.... maybe they should have a page that shows the difference like everyone else...

They actually tried to explain it to you in the comments. They didn't "just block you". Also, they can do whatever they want. They don't need to do what 'everyone else" does.

no, they didn't... I was blocked right after I asked my question... because I said something about people paying more for YCH than for a commission are dumb and math is hard....

they took offense to what you said. they where thinking you where calling the person who was planning on buying the ych dumb. they didnt want drama on their pics and that is why they blocked you.

I admit that maybe calling *people who pay more for a YCH than they would have to pay for a commission* "dumb" was probably not the best thing to do... but look at what a bunch of people are calling me.... a lot worse things than "dumb" lol... I guess now that I am no longer a potential source of money it doesn't matter.

But, If they didn't want drama why did they make 3 journals to continue talking about the drama... including one that apparently says I'm going through their list of watchers and harassing them or something... I have not done anything like that at all.

After looking again, they do have samples... but soft shading and hard color.... look exactly the same to me....

People pay what they are willing to pay it really doesnt matter if somebody wishes to pay the price of a YCH then let them it really is nobody's business but their own

I don't mean to sound rude in saying this, but you don't have to buy anything from them. If you think their art is "horrible" and you already unwatched them, why make a big deal of it?

And about YCHs,
I'm not sure if it goes with the artist you mentioned, but I've seen a few artists who sometimes don't offer commissions like their YCHs. By this, I mean they may have a certain style or different techniques (etc.) used to finish a YCH, but they don't offer that same style, etc. for commissions. It's almost like a special offer in a way. Again though, that might not be with the mentioned artist. Just pointing that out.

that makes sense.... I have also seen artists that ONLY do commissions through YCHs...

and no, I don't think their art is horrible... only their coloring skills... =/

the artist in question posts a lot of WiPs and I get excited when I see some good looking lineart and then when the colored version is posted I dislike it greatly... so I only even faved/saved linearts, lol.

I don't think I have, most art is kinda pricey, but the highest price YCH I've got so far was 50 dollars, but it was for his character with any pose, any kink, any species, which I actually noted and did a small description of what I wanted, so I guess I came up with it myself.
*note the YCH I'm talking about it in sketch right now, finished piece has no current eta*

I think the most I have paid(well my mate for this one) was a couple hundred bucks to get into a YCH by Redrusker lol... but that's Redrusker and it's worth it and he never does commissions just auctions so...

Well Redrusker is something else, my mate has a whole lot of paid stuff from them. A lot of physical stuff, some purchased from Redrusker at Anthrocon, some elsewhere.

The ych should be cheaper if not the same price. From the looks of it I haven't seen a single ych that was more than commission.

That's what I think to... since you are sacrificing the creative control to the commission... and the pose is already decided... but then I guess people would pay more if they weren't that clevor at creating their own pose i guess?
