After talking with the credit card people, we agreed that I'll be paying $80 a month for the next 12 months and once that's done, I won't owe them a cent. However, the company is required by law to file a 1099c form with the IRS. That basically means that the remaining part of the debt that was forgiven will be considered "a source of income", which also means that I might have to pay in owed taxes when that pops up. Fun.

While the monthly payments don't seem so bad, I still have my phone to pay for, money I use to take the bus to work, and giving my mother money for gas and whatever she needs because my stepdad is too damn cheap to give her money.



There is some good news at the end of the dark hole! Someone on FA (and I bet I know who based on their email address) donated $10 to me and I GREATLY appreciate the gesture. I started working on another Bowser pic as promised in the Bowser drive. My paypal is in the journal link in the header, but I'll also post it here.
