I was sitting here doing some math and it seems that if I can't find any one else that wants to go down with me, I probably won't be going at all.
Here are the numbers I have come up with:
for 2 nights at the hotel (drive back Sunday)
# of people--Con Reg.--Hotel cost--Total per person
1 -- 35 + 160 = 195
2 -- 35 + 80 = 115
3 -- 35 + 60 = 95
4 -- 35 + 46 = 81
for 3 nights at the hotel (drive back Monday)
# of people--Con Reg.--Hotel cost--Total per person
1 -- 35 + 240 = 275
2 -- 35 + 120 = 155
3 -- 35 + 90 = 125
4 -- 35 + 70 = 105
So as you can see it drastically changes just by getting a few other people to go with me... I would prefer NOT to drive back on Sunday night...but if I go by myself, then I guess that's what I'll have to do.
*sighs* ...I really don't know...it might be easier to just stay home for this one and just save the money for the next con around the corner. :/
Unless there is anyone that is going that would like to share a room. ...as you can see it really cuts down on the cost of the room, leaving you more spending money for the con itself. (i'm not very picky...I mean really, I could sleep in the closet with my sleeping bag for god sakes. O.O )

...and yeah I will totally help pay for it, I have every intention of doing so. are you guys planning on leaving monday morning or sunday evening after the con? (some people don't like to drive back at night...)
but anywho....could you ask him if that would be ok?? and ask him how much I would need to pay him upfront for the room if I did. (and remember I don't need a bed...I can sleep on the floor in my sleeping bag.)
