24 Hours of Booty (it's not what you think! :P)

I bet that title got some attention! But despite where your mind may have gone, this is actually an annual cycling event that is a cancer fundraiser--both for finding cures and for helping those who are currently fighting cancer. I've been riding in it for the past 6 years (logging something in the neighborhood of 800+ miles/1287+ km or so), but I've never really posted anything about it here.
Well, this year I decided to do an experiment and see what kind of traction something like this would get here. I'm trying to raise $1500 USD or more in less than a month to help do my part, and I would greatly appreciate any help in reaching my goal! Even something as simple as a signal boost means a lot. :)
For the full story of the event and why I keep doing this year after year (aside from the general suckiness of cancer), please head on over to my fundraising page! If you do wish to make a donation (because you are AWESOME!!!), just click on the "Support Benjamin!" button (and enjoy the charitable donation tax break).
Thank you all so much for your support, y'all rock! :D

Heh, yeah, about that saddle time...I still have a ways to go. Between the weather and a crazy schedule finding time (and energy) to ride has been a challenge this year, so I'm a month or two behind where I should be. Normally I'm just starting 50 mile rides for training by now, but this year the longest ride I've done was a 30 miler (and that was recently). September is going to be a brutal training month by necessity, I'm afraid!
