Okay, so this is a bit overdue, but with a couple of recent incidents I think I have to address this.

I am flattered to know that folks like my art enough to want to work on it themselves. Seeing my stuff colored by others can be quite a fun treat - HOWEVER If you want to do so, please ask me first. Chiefly among these reasons is that alot of what I have posted recently is commissioned work. If you want to color my works that were done for fun, I will most likely respond positively, and may even be down with supplying you with a high res copy for you to color. The big problem lies in coloring works that were done for pay. These were paid for by folks, and I feel that as such their owners deserve a say in what is done to these works. If you ask, and are able to get the okay of me and the commission's owner, I have no issue with these being colored, but again - asking permission is key.

I actually had to go to the admins today to ask them to resolve one of the two incidents I spoke of. I do not enjoy doing this.

And before you say - yes, I have seen some of the colors posted like http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14303975/ - this is fine because it was done at the request of the owner of that pic. While I am happy to color these myself (and am working on that backlog), I take no issue in these being taken to other artists and having them colored. Again, it is a matter of permission.

So please, be sure to ask if you get the itch to color my art. (And if you see that it is a commission, maybe asking the owner before you get to me is a good idea.)

I'm not mad (a bit frustrated maybe), but I needed to make sure that I got this info out there.

Anyway... I am gonna get a bit more work done before I go to sleep for the night, but I hope to see you guys later tonight at the stream. (And keep an eye out for new art to be posted soon.)
