I'm working as a stocker at the local walmart for 9.50 per hour, which, for this area nets me a decent income. I spend my night in the deli making sandwiches for the next day, and back-stock. Along with filling the meat case.
For these hours and this pay it is wierd that when I get home I'm a bit weirded out by coming home and NOT being tired from working. Not being sweaty. Not being nasty. because this work, compared to my intense previous jobs is easy, and they do not expect this good a performance from employees. I exceed their expectations.
I feel a little like I'm cheating and not working hard enough.

DON'T COMPLAIN. Seriously. Milk this for all it's worth. You've got OK pay, and you're able to get your job done without sacrificing your health. Do all you can to make sure you keep this until you can find something you love doing that pays well because you've lucked out and found one of the few sweet spots that company has to offer. Most of the time working for Wally World is a shitty experience.
Once you find people who you enjoy working with don't be afraid to help them out if they need it. Good people who are enjoyable to work with are work a little extra effort if it helps them look good in the process, and it can only help you look better. The number one reason I lasted as long as I did was because I had a few really good people working with me, and we covered each others backs when it came to getting stuff done.
I'm happy that you've ended up where you've ended up. i have way too many Wal-Mart horror stories, and think it would be great to see someone else have a more positive experience than I had.
