PSD FILE CORRUPTION - [All. is right. with the world]

A terrible world with small sanctuaries is where my happiness lies. My laptop had been on the fritz lately, shutting down suddenly and blue-screening
I fixed the problem, but a very important psd file was corrupted
I checked my backup and that file had been updated to the corrupted version as well
Right now it's just a flat image with a bunch of static on it
I'm trying to run repair software on it now, but DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO HELP ME?
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM TELLING ME WHAT I SHOULD DO WITH FUTURE FILESSweet lord baby jesus, one of my back up files survived

Just looked this up, and apparently it could be an issue with the way the layers saved. You can open it as a flat image by holding ALT + SHIFT when opening the file. Other than that, not sure how to help.
