Costs of Custom Facerig Models?
General
I'm wondering because I don't fit into the generic canine-like category for Facerig and would like a proper custom made thing anyway. I haven't seen anyone actually explicitly advertise, selling or willing to just have a try, at making them.
Anyone have any ideas or is anyone themselves trying to make something for it? I have neither the time or skill or the time to learn the skill needed at modelling anything so far.

I am pretty certain, once the specs are released, and the import works that I am going to try myself at doing custom models for it.
Buuut thats not what you ask. I guess a cost estimate is difficult to do, before it is known exaclty what has to be done for a rig.

Ah I never funded it so I kinda don't know what's happening at the moment but eh, if I could get a model from anyone that'd be great though. So it's kinda just stock models at the moment then?
As far as I know, yes. I have been to the forum today, and one of the mods gave some advice on how to model "until the specs and tutorials are released" so I guess it will be a while. Did not do extensive research yet though. But it seems all still at a fairly early stage.

Neat, now just to pick which Garry's. Also, I'd likely commission my quetzal both in latex and not. Epic rainbow feather beard in real time

I already have models waiting for me. I just need to wait for facerig to make it possible cuz I believe they are still working on making custom models possible

I heard if you want it to be done professionally, it costs about 500-1000$ each character. Depending on how advanced it is.

Apparently hoRs3 seems interested to maybe give it a try :3

I suspect when the interface methods are first released it is going to be ridiculously expensive since there seems to be a huge demand for custom models from what I've seen. However, I suspect someone will write some intelligent software and drop it down into something much more affordable, but that will take a while to get here. This is just my guess. There will always be a market for the high quality ones, but also a market for someone who wants to look like something different, but doesn't have the budget.
