I've had moments like that. Weirdly enough, my older art seemed more popular than my newer works. :/

It's so crazy! It was as if the better I got at my painting and drawing techniques, the less people were interested!
Some of my old crappy sketches from a dozen years ago used to get favs, views, and comments out the yin-yang.
But then, when I manage to create the best painting I've ever done up to that point, it tops off at twenty views.
It took a couple years for anyone to even comment on it. -__- It's so discouraging sometimes.

I figure some people just have poor taste, but then I'm insulting myself. Haha! ^.^ It seems that I'm somewhere
in the middle-zone, where artists tend to get lost, while the bulk of the site gravitates towards either beginning
artists, or those who have already mastered their technique, and never show any improvement, or change in art
style. Maybe it's because my quality varies from piece to piece? Some days I crank out a beautiful gem, and others
I barely get the line art to work. Lol. Though nowadays even when I post my old work, it doesn't get much attention.

Hmm... Though I could just staple a pair of fake giant boobs to my chest, and add a few fake wieners. That should
grab a few people's attention, but... eh. I'd rather they like me for who I am right now. :P

Another theory is that perhaps all my former fans started watching too many artists, and now their inbox is so over
flowing, that they simply can't keep up with it all. I know that's happened to me. >.> So many great artists on here,
but I've already got 27.9k submissions in my inbox--and that's after I had mega-nuked my inbox (going by 10,000
at a time. That took a few days to finish.)

If you find that astonishing, grab 10+ year old diary entries of yourself (if you have them) and wonder how people ever put up with you or why they hadn't abandoned you back then.

Oh gosh... I've actually gone back and destroyed my old journals. Neither I, nor anybody else, needs to go back and waste time reading those poorly legible rants, about stupid crud that doesn't matter anymore. <.<'

I was tempted to destroy all of mine, too, but only settled for the most terrible ones, showing eventual onlookers, that change is possible.

I've saved a page here and there, maybe ones that have cool dreams that I wrote down.
For the most part, the rest of them are just me venting crud, or bittersweet memories that I don't need to revisit. :P
