Yay! :D This should give me a chance to be there this time. ;w;

yeah, I'll be starting tomorrow (Tuesday). First I wanted to start today, but I remembered I had to go to art school in the evening, so I changed it to Tuesday :p

:o I once went to art school. Was a while ago... went to a pretty well-known one to study computer animation. I learned a hella lot! Buuuuuuuut it turned out it wasn't for me. At one point I was naive enough to believe that art school was where you could freely express yourself, and where people embraced creativity. Well... not where I went anyway. Their whole curriculum was designed to turn me into a workaholic zombie. They didn't care about their students, and one of their more praised students ended up with a heart condition from all the caffeine and never sleeping. They turn you into an art factory. You don't enjoy what you do anymore or express yourself freely. They take YOU out of the equation and that's what they say gets you a good job. It was a very painful thing for me to learn.

But that was the CA major for ya. Wish I would have gone into illustration instead... those kids really had a lot more fun. ;A; I worked really really hard, but they didn't like me or my ideas - no matter what I did. I ended up leaving after two years with no degree. v.v I miss the time when I really enjoyed my work and I had a direction with it... seems almost impossible to get back again.
