Progress on Avi suit

Progress Percent: 30% Completed
Things finished:
Head: furring, shaving, airbrushing, sanded horns, painted, placed horns
Tail-rewired/restuffed
One handpaw completely done, other needs pawpads
Currently working on:
Leg/feet foamwork
Things to do(in order):
Finishing head touches with melding fur and horns
Add more fur to back of the head
Order black seal fur
Order polar bear fur
Make bodysuit
Create snap system for connecting the bodysuit
Make feetpaws/fur
Make feetclaws
Place DVC items onto suit as appropriate
Make chibi wings + make snap attachments
That should be about it ^^ I'll add to this list over time if I think of anything else or update it regularly. ^^ I'm guessing with how money is right now, this should take me up to the time that we are about to leave for MWFF this december. Wish me luck!

Thanks so much! I'ma need it! I just finished the leg shaping tonight :) Gonna be hopefully working on feet foam work after I ducttape the suit.

Good luck! How hard was it to build the head? I've been wanting a head and tail for a while now(I have some WolfehWorks paws that will suffice for now) but it's going to be very hard to save up money to buy one between insurance, gas, rent, my truck project, etc. I'm thinking this might be the quickest and cheapest way, if I did it myself

Thanks! It wasn't too bad, but its my fourth fursuit head, soooo, if that tells you anything. Making a fursuit is NOT easy when you first start out. Unless you have a person right there beside you(and even that doesn't help some people), it'll be really difficult to make the materials you wasted worth it. ;3;

I'd mainly be worried about getting the head/face shape right, as long as that's okay, I can probably live with the rest being a little "off," especially for my first lol

Lol, I know what you mean, but ti's not even the shape you have to worry about. If you have a perfect face, you can seriously still fuck up sewing and gluing and shaving the fur. Not to mention the eyes have to be JUST RIGHT or else they will look hella scary. I've been there, done that. It's not an easy task, the whole project is an issue for head building

My grandma can help me with the sewing, so that shouldn't be too big of a problem. But you're right, I know it won't be easy. I'll watch a few tutorials and weigh the costs, maybe you could help too
