[Smartbadge] Final price, and what should I do ?

Final price without shipping: $50.
What do you get: A con badge made of a 6" 800x600 e-ink display sandwiched between transparent acrylic. At least 16 full-frame pictures can be stored via USB. Rechargeable battery, lasting enough for even a week-long convention.

To get a reasonable price on the parts and get the protos going, I need to advance at least the price of one badge.
If you are interested in getting such a badge:
Choice #1:
I try selling stuff/get a slave job/sell my body to earn the needed cash.
Good: No begging, no shame, no trust problems.
Bad: This can take > 1 month + another month to make and test the protos, then the final version.
Choice #2:
You can send me anything between $5 and $50 (or more if you want multiple badges) in advance.
Good: Gets things done way faster, get the badge or get a refund (thank Paypal).
Bad: You're giving $ to someone you don't know and have to wait 3~4 weeks to get the badge.

If you're willing to pay (part of) the badge in advance, please let me know who you are and give me your shipping address, so I can get organized.
