NaNo Novel: Here Falls The Thunder
This may come as old news to people, but I recently discovered this indie game, which went by the name Iji. I've never heard of it, or even knew of it's existence before yesterday. However, after having a friend rave about it, I did a bit of research myself into this game, and discovered:
- Iji is a Swedish made game, not Japanese, despite the name!
- It was made using a program called Game Maker, which is apparently an extremely versatile program, though I've never used it myself.
- Daniel Remar, the game's creator, did most of the work, though he had the help of other people for things such as music and voice acting (Yes! Actual voice acting!)
- Iji is a 2D game in the same vein as Cave Story, but with more RPG elements, and a deep story that has to be seen to believed.
- Bitchin' music, yo!
I'm definitely going to try this game out!
