So some talk about possibly switching to yet another medication got me all depressed, tired of playing brain-juice roulette to find which pill might work. 9 weeks since I switched from Paxil to St John's wort and the last 3 have SUCKED. Multiple times throughout any given work day, I'll tense up all over my body and lose my breath and want to scream yet can't make any sound come out. Plus I'm getting paranoid about losing my job again.
I broke down and thought I'd rather die than try yet another pill, so I checked myself into the ER to avoid killing myself. After many unnecessary hours of waiting, I had a psych evaluation, then waited some more, and they diagnosed me as depressed. I personally think anxiety is more accurate. But I'm going to start looking for a counselor or therapist tomorrow. Right now I need to try and get some sleep.

Anxiety and depression often go hand-in-hand so tightly that it can be hard to separate them, and anxiety can certainly give way to depression.
St. John's Wort, IMHO, is often better for mild depression or malaise, and often doesn't do enough for more severe, persistent, or pronounced forms of depression. The trade-off is that it typically doesn't have the side-effects people report when taking other, stronger medications.
I'm sorry you're having to grapple with brain-juice roulette, but I admire your courage, resilience, and persistence in continuing to fight the good fight.
You know I suffer from OCD and anxiety, so please contact me anytime if you want to just talk, catch up , vent. If you note me here or on FB I will give you my Skype and phone number as well so you will always be able to get me if you need. **hugs tight**. We miss you down here.
Pray this: Lord forgive me of my sins, I repent and renounce of them. I renounce and reject the enemies lies and believe and accept your trurh. (This breaks any ties the enemy might have on you with them) I ask you jesus that you would restore to me what the enemy has stolen. My peace joy and truth.
I command that the spirits of depression and anxiety leave me in Jesus name! You have no power, right, or authority over me and you have to leave! You are a trespasser and a thief and I command, with the authority given to me by jesus Christ, to leave now in jesus name!
Thank you jesus. I have faith and believe that what I asked of you wil be and has been done. I accept it.
A little lengthy, but powerful. Pray this and believe it's done and you'll be fine.
Now, although it is possible, it may not spontaneously work. Just keep praying and believing this and they'll leave. Demons are stubborn and don't like being ordered in jesus name. But they have no choice but to listen if you speak in that name. There's power and authority in it and they must listen to it. They're like very bratty kids who are stubborn and don't like being told what to do but will do it anyway crying and throwing a fit haha. They're powerless! Useles! They can't do anything but lie to People and hope they listen. But they're good at it. They've had lots of practice and know everything that man would fall for. Ever since satan was kicked out of heaven and lied and tempted Eve. So he's got the knowledge about what we would fall for.
Haha anyways.. rambling on.. all of this to say: We have power in the name of jesus over the enemy. Use it! :)
Are you saying Ian has a brain disease? You can pray that away too. Nothing is impossible for God.
I assume you don't believe, otherwise you wouldn't doubt Gods power. If that's the case then I'm done talking to you. I don't want his page getting cluttered with "religious" arguments that will lead nowhere.
Have a good day.
St. Johns wort appears to be a more nutritional approach which means it takes longer to build up in the body and have an affect.
Please take care and I will maintain positive energy thoughts for you.
In the meantime; you may be interested to learn more about nutritional healing.
I found this documentary film to be very interesting and is still available on netflix-

PS: Suppressing fear results in panic.
I'm sure you've heard that faith is the enemy of anxiety and worry; that life takes 100% action and 100% faith; and that they are interconnected. You are keenly aware of what you need to do in this life. Pray for autonomy, not the kind that is reaction to anything that happens, that's just following reason and rules. Pray for God to surprise you with a situation you hadn't recognized His guidance in. There is confidence in knowing that in even the little things like sustenance for bird fowl, that God will surely provide for you. Let life get difficult and God is still there.
God is good all the time and all the time God is good!
I will pray for you!
