Not much interest in my new species, but hopefully after this new round of development they'll be more desirable? Maybe my drawing just didn't make them wantable enough? Not quite sure how uber popular species are made.

Do you guys have any critique on the Axie Kits? What would make you want one as a character?

So tonight I doodled out several Axie Kit things- including a much more detailed version of what I envisioned them as. I intend to make up a quick species sheet.

Hell, I just want to see these little guys catch on- I'm not even in it for the cash XD

In other news, I leave on Friday to go back to SCAD! While you would think school equals less art from me, having my own room and schedule has been invaluable in motivating me to get things on track! :) I guess being at art school just makes you feel like arting!

Going to think about offering special commisiony things, such as custom screen prints based on how hard these are to do. I want to take advantage of the print lab! My laminator and sticker maker is coming with me as well, so I may also try and advertise badges and stickers more.

Craziwolf inspires me to get back into traditional art- insomuch that I am going to try and branch out (back in?) and work with markers/inks/pencils.

But practicing and mastering my tablet will also be on my to do list.


In short, expect lots of things from me in the next 10 weeks! This unnaturally slow cheetah is breaking into a sprint!
