helo yes I'm typing this and also kind of delightedly vibrating in place because tomorrow's my birthday! Yay!
And now, for some updates and a bit of a thing.
Updates:
I've been doodling up a storm as of late, which is good! I'm just having fun getting things out of my head and testing new techniques as I prepare to go to college. The enrollment process is almost complete and I should start courses soon!
I'm also currently working on a reference sheet for my 'sona but need help compiling everything together to make it work, so if anybody would like to help me with that, it'd be much obliged.
The Thing:
Alrighty, I'm telling it straight so nobody gets too pissed off at me--I'm not obligated to do requests. They're called requests for a reason, friends. They're pretty much suggestions for what to draw and I'll take them whenever, but they shouldn't be expected to arrive lickity-split. I work on them on my own time, and lately my time has been consumed by things I'm dealing with here on my end, such as stress, a nasty anxiety disorder, and depression that makes it hard for me to do anything at all. Because of this, most of the requests are simply WIPs in my art folder and I don't know if I'll ever get back to them, which I know is unfortunate because there were a ton of you asking.
Maybe I'll work on one or two to pass time when I have it between life's lemons and my own personal projects--but please, don't hold your breath for these. I'm not going to rush on them because they're pretty much only for fun--practically charity work.
Commissions and art trades are a completely different thing entirely, because for those I'm getting something in return (money or art), and I always keep my end of a bargain.
TL;DR: My birthday is tomorrow and requests are done on my free time.

People need to realise its rather an honor to have a request done in the first place and is a privilege and not a right.
