Might be moving....to Illinois :(

Due to my work basically telling me to either move or be laid off I might have to make the trip to Peoria (or close by) and settle there for some time. So basically I am wondering if there is any significant furry community nearby?
Chicago does not count as nearby I'm afraid though getting to MFF in the future seems possible and me and my mate have always loved going to that con.

take the paid time off if it doesn't mean your job.
laid off sucks though since you have no clue if they're actually going to bring ya back or not at all x-x
The lay offs I've had were at least paid through unemployment. A lot less than a pay check but man, better than uprooting and moving to an unknown area.
Not sure how up to date it is, but worth a look.
Other than that it seems like there's a decent enough community there from the comments so far. What sort of a timeframe for this are we talking about?
