Hey guys, Mimic here.

As you may have seen, I am creating a comic. If you haven't seen, then I'll post it here in this journal. I am making a comic.

What is this comic? It's called Sky Haven Chronicles.

This is a comic based on a long running RP setting that I've used with a number of friends of mine that evolved out of another RPG which I played in a message forum for 7 years. It sets in a city called Sky Haven. It is here that many things happen and many characters of different origins and species gather. Why? Well, anything really. Jobs, living, fighting giant monsters, protest, and just hang out with friends. The comic will tell of different stories of different characters. Each having their own adventure, sometimes it intertwines with other stories and characters. I wanted to make a comic like this for a while but never had someone to help write it until now.

So expect more updates in the future.

Later this month, I plan to open up a Patreon account to help fund both the comic and my artistic pursuits (animations and stuff). This doesn't mean you have to pay to see the comic. You'll still get the pages for free. The patreon is to give you someplace to donate money if you like my art or just want to show your appreciation for the comic (Better than Google Adsense for youtube with all it's ads and inefficient means of revenue. Seriously, who posts 5 videos a day? Urg, rambling....). Plus, there are a few bonuses for doing so like up-to-date news regarding the comic or other projects and possibly early access to pages in the making.

I'll post another Journal regarding the Patreon page once it is ready to be shown. I'm just playing around with it to see what works. It's easy to sign up and donate, yet the more advanced stuff is more... well, advanced.
