Well the thing is, I've always hated Smash Bros. It was never fun to me. But then Brawl introduced Lucas and I actually liked using someone! Then of course they take the one character I like away. XD

So fuck Smash Bros. I'm going back to real fighting games!

Well, there is the possible chance Lucas may return as a future DLC character, including ones who didn't make the final cut since Nintendo plans on adding new stages once both SSB games are out.

We can only hope. But I doubt they'll do DLC anytime soon, if at all.

Oh, Nintendo would be very foolish to piss off their fans, especially their North American fans after the crap they have been pulling as of late.

It's funny how this is their biggest roster to date, and yet it's easily the worst one.

Well, to each their own but people have said that with Melee (When Peach, Ice Climbers and Zelda/Sheik were added) and Brawl (Like adding non-Nintendo owned characters like Snake and Sonic) when they saw the final rosters but people ended up enjoying the game. You may hate it or you may love it, until you see how all the characters fight with your own two hands, hold judgment on the roster till you played.

Meh. I'll have Persona Ultimax in a couple weeks so I really have no reason to play Smash Bros now, honestly. X3

The Lucas thing just makes it easier for me to have an excuse to focus on a real fighting game. XD

Real fighting game is what u make based on preference because they are all real fighting games.

Smash Bros has always seemed like more of a party game to me.

Almost everything that is considered general convention for the fighting game genre is kinda thrown out the window with smash bros. It really is its own thing in its own little niche. That alone doesn't make it good or bad, but it really is inherently different from any other fighting game in how it works, not just for being a franchise crossover thing.

It really is more of a party game than a 'fighting game' in any sense other than the fact that characters are fighting. Which, if that's all it takes for a person to consider it a fighting game, then okay, they'll disagree. Most people who are particularly into fighting games, like, tournament-level players, even if they like smash bros too, will still usually concede that it's kindof off in its own space.

Personally, I'm not super big into most fighting games, but I really like smash bros. It's the things that make it different and less technical than most fighting games that make it more enjoyable to me. I like it more >because< it's not a real fighting game.

Does it really matter? No it doesn't.

Don't doubt yet! He may return. It's not Smash Bros without him! I say this because I loved using him in Brawl, despite never playing any Earthbound/Mother title. :3

Ultimax will honestly make me completely forget about Smash Bros once I get my hands on it. X3

Then after Ultimax, Persona Q comes out in November so I'm pretty much set for games for awhile. :D
