I suppose if they do vote themselves independent, they could keep on pissing off the gentry by bringing the last known legitimate blood descendant of the English throne back over from Australia to sit as king of Scotland. Ya know, I'd actually pay to see that.

All of these independence nonsense doesn't matter a jot, seeing as the Union of Crowns in 1603 unites the crowns of Scotland and England, so the Queen will still be head of state and I come from a Scottish family :V
