I'm afraid of 29 out of 72 fears

Are you afraid of:
[] the dark
[] staying single forever
[X] being a parent (kids = SCARY. Especially when they start screaming. Makes me want to either run the other way, or curl up and hide [behind my spikes :P ] Also, I have NO idea how to relate to them. Like at ALL.)
[X] giving birth (owch. No. Just no. I don't like pain, THANKYOUVERYMUCH. Besides, then I would have the fear of kids to deal with. For 18 YEARS. Or longer, if they were to fail in life the way I have >.>)
[X] being myself in front of others (sloooooowly getting over this. though it starts over again with every new person I meet.)
[] open spaces
[] closed spaces
[X] heights (a little)
[] dogs
[] birds
[] fish
[X] spiders (somewhat. I used to be more so, but when you live alone, you have to be able to deal with them when they show up. It's mainly when they surprise me that I freak out. This may be one fear that I go more into "fight" mode for than "flight". Defending my home from invaders. XP )
[] flowers or other plants

[X] being touched (It has to do with my disability. I don't like invasions of personal space.)
[X] fire (absolutely NO reason at all for this one, oddly. O_o)
[X] deep water (maybe a little, as I don't swim very well. Mostly don't like water with waves or currents. For the same reason. Also, almost drowned in a wave-pool once. Long story. (ok, maybe 'almost drowned' is an exaggeration...but it's what it FELT like to me))

[X] large crowds of people (THIS. the story of my entire life. Crowds...but also just everyday meetings with strangers. It's more a fear of making a fool of myself in public, or being judged.)
[X] men (a little. some of my friends have had...uh...bad experiences, and I don't want that myself, so I steer clear of love and such. I may have hastily slammed a proverbial door in a guy's face once for this reason, when I realized he might be interested in more than friendship. I kinda regret it, but you never know...)
[x] women (to a lesser extent. but they're still people, and could still be judgemental and mean *cough*ex-boss*cough* )
[X] having great responsibilities (afraid I would fail and let people down. also a bit of stage-fright in this I think.)

[X] becoming blind (afformentioned genetic disease. My grandma is blind because of it, and I have the same thing, and have recently had a decline in vision. It's not bad so far, but...I also have an old injury to my eye that has never healed. I was always able to kind of "look through" it before, but now I can't as much. I hate my genetics. :C )
[X] becoming deaf (I am like...SUPER-PROTECTIVE of my ears. and my recent illness kinda scared me, not so much about going deaf, but will I always be dizzy like this? Although I had a bit of ringing that wouldn't go away for a while that made me a bit nervous too. That part has pretty much gone away now, thankfully.)
[X] growing up (make that growing OLD. since I am an adult now. But when I was a kid, I was afraid of growing up, and I'm still a bit afraid of growing old...mainly because of that disease I mentioned, but also death)

[X] creepy noises in the night (depends on what it is. howling wind...not so much [that's just annoying]...if somebody was shooting or trying to break in, HECK yeah I'd be scared)

I'm in the "paranoid" category. >.> but one less than needing counseling. But I'm already getting that.

As always, other not-so-new news:
my novel from four years worth of NaNoWriMo is still only half written. *sigh* It is fighting me every step of the way, but if I could just finish it, I might be able to actually bring in some money...assuming it ever gets noticed, which, considering my current level of non-entity-ness is not likely. *sigh* :|

Also, I came up with a tentative commission price list...but I kind of feel it is inadequate for my skills/amount of time I spend on my art. But if I price too high, nobody will buy from me. So I'm still not ready to take them yet. But I will have to start doing something soon, as I am running out of money. So, if anybody has any advice as to setting up commisions, it would be appreciated.
