Congratulations to SpaceX and Boeing

General
SpaceX and Boeing have been awarded contracts to transport astronauts by 2017 into space from US soil using the Dragon V2 and the CST-100, respectively.

Hopefully Sierra Nevada will continue developing the Dream Chaser. Maybe ESA or JAXA, or both, can make use of it.
And, of course, Jeff Bezos will continue using his own money to develop his Blue Origin launch vehicle and spaceship. It'd be interesting to see if he could get that into orbit sooner than Boeing's.

Hopefully they will last after their first explosion, which will happen. Could be a month in or 10 years, but its almost killed the space program many times.
