UPDATE BIG SIGH OF RELIEF OR IS IT.......

Doctor: ah Mr. Liger we looked at your ultra sounds on your gallbladder.
Me: yes sir
Doctor: Well it is Ok.
Me: What has been causing the problem??
Doctor: You have Deterioration in the spine and you have a fatty liver. so we are going to put you on a special diet.
Me:..................
Doctor: Did you hear what we said?
Of Course I did, now fro those who may not know this I have been fighting this Deterioration in the Spine, (Scoliosis) since 2004. but Fatty Liver?? I looked it up and it was saying it is a form of hepatitis. I started to panic on the phone BUT...
Doctor: Mr. Liger if you had it the hospital would have put you in on that day you went in. YOU DO NOT HAVE IT you just have a fatty liver that can be easy taken care of with out surgery. In sort you have to stay away from fatty foods and start having a low-cal diet

Now i know you guys will say "You can do it" but you are talking to a brick wall when you say "JUMP!!" but i am going to lose this 220 lbs. for a healthy me.

You can lose the weight without feeling deprived. =^.^=
I suggest keeping a food diary for the first month or so to see just you have and when. It isn't easy figuring out exact weights but you can guess and be pretty close. Your hand is actually a good reference to what size of portion you should have. Make note of what exercise you do as well as your mood/feelings since those reflect in what/how you eat.
There is a good cookbook out with a suggested diet menu I use and it has a wonderful lemon meringue pie recipe in it that is easy to make. It's called "Eater's Choice" and follows with the basic premise of the Atkins diet, which does work so long as you keep at it.
*hugs* I am at 220 also. Maybe 225. Perhaps I need to do the same, even though I've been trying sometimes, heh.
