Ah yeah, very satisfying :D Almost like you're reading it for the first time again.

But more often than not you wonder "What was I thinking back then?"

I get that from some of the super old things I have sitting on my hard drive - like early 2000's stuff when I was still back in Middle and High School. You think - "Geeze this stuff is hokey....". No depth at all. But most of that stuff evolved into ideas for later works that were infinitely more refined.

I still dust off Alesia every so often and polish it here, add a couple lines/ ideas there. I'll finish it eventually in a few decades, lol.
