Story Ideas/Worldbuilding

Hi,
So a couple of ideas that have been swimming through my head recently (today). Story ideas, world building, character stuff.
First is an Avatar type character. I watched the second season of Korra continrecently (good stuff). And it brought some old ideas to the forefront. I like the regeneration mechanism of the avatar, particularly the 'accessing past lives' avatar state thing. I had a dream ages ago about such a character. Myself and Tirta (my water mage) were trying to help her connect with her past lives so she could own whatever evil we were up against. The Doctor was also somehow involved but I think that's a bit much. The main thing I remember about her from the dream was her wielding a large golden staff.
Anyway, I think she's a character I want to weave into my stories. I have much to learn about her yet. What is her history? What is the nature of her regeneration? I like the 'cycle' idea of Avatar but I don't want to do the element thing. I'll figure something out.
Anyway, the second idea in my head is more yiffy. It harkens back to this story: http://www.chakatsden.com/chakat/St.....s/TOFC-05.html, one of the first I read in discovering the furry fandom. I love the idea of an open sexual type thing. A character having sexual acts 'requested' of them.
I'm thinking of continuing in the foxtaur vein, as foxtaurs are sexy. Also it would let me add a bit of backstory/character to my Kevin. But I imagine a foxtaur tree-city somewhere deep in the jungle. Not allowing outsiders in as they dislike the judgement brought on them of their lifestyle. They have a system of requesting a desired partner for sex.
They have a 'mateship' concept as opposed to marriage, maybe similar to the Chakat universe den mate/life mate sort of thing. I have a couple of ideas I can draw from. We shall see.
