This was posted awhile ago, but I only stumbled across it recently, while doing some "research" on suicide cults. While there's none of that eschatological shit here, this list does take theology in some pretty interesting directions.

has her own church, I think the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster will
always have a warm place in my heart now. If anything needs poking holes
in, it's the idea of Intelligent Design. No, not the original concept but the
expletive deleted idiots who twisted it into a hammer to beat other people
down with.
Don't get me wrong, as a lapsed Roman Catholic, I do believe there is a reason
why a lot of things in this word, fit together so exactly. What I can not believe is
that the entire world was dropped off by some celestial UPS driver, around four
thousand years ago, and anything that says otherwise, is all part of some
Matrix Movie-esque lie. I've always believe that such an attitude vastly
underestimates just how subtle God can be.
He died for our sins more times than I can count, and came back even more often. Regular Jesus is a pansy in comparison.
