I might go to try it out some year

but sometimes its the same time as WTF

so I choose AN Over it as its closer to me and much bigger

has close to 40,000 people ever year and increasing

last year peoples costumes were seriously amazing

it brings great memories every time!!

Even if it's on a different weekend, seriously, don't go to WTFur. They don't have any idea how to make the con safe OR fun.

Previously my man didn't want to go to anime cons because he's not into Japanese stuff and thought they might be boring, but he really liked Otakuthon! Apparently anime fans really like fursuits, and lol we're mostly there to just be fluffy animals so hey that works!

yeah whenever I go I get tons of hugs and photos from everyone

they love me their aha

this year I had atleast 10+ people say they know me because of my fursuit and from previous years

it was awesome!!

I never had any bad experience yet with anime cons or the people their

im not a huge anime fan

but I go to see amazing costumes

and for the fun!!
