Or maybe do something new if posssible, say a stream with the two playing 1 on 1 in an online game while you spectate? Just a silly idea that isnt likely to work.

heh it does seem to be a problem...I mean You could do as Chompy said and have them do a coin toss but I don't think either would be happy about the end result if they were to lose from a coin toss...but I can't see many other solutions x3

Actually, why not extend the voting until one of them at least has 1 extra vote while continuing the rest of the competition. that way it keeps moving forward and there can be an end result for this match.
