I don't have a smartphone. But I prefer to access Twitter using Linux command line, and TTYtter was perfect for that. But Twitter keeps changing their login authentication method and TTYtter can't keep up.

Well! Apparently all they did the third time was make SSL a hard requirement. I gave it the -ssl option. Works fine now. I'll be using Twitter a lot more often!
