I'm still debating taking the light rail down. Sad to say, I'm a little light in the pocket these days. Is there a lot scene like at concerts of old? I'd love to kick it with folks, but I can't justify $40 to go inside.

There are some areas at the convention where you don't need a badge to get into. The conversion takes place in a hotel. And there are plenty of people and fursuiters walking around the areas where badges are not required. So you can show up and hang out, just not in the area'swhere specific events are taking place.
