the dream
I remember now why I stopped taking that stuff.
I decided to take my sleeping medication so I would be unable to stay up late and so I'd get more sleep and thus not be tired.
It was interesting to say the least.
As I looked around my room, still awake but half dreaming, I watched the walls become red and dissolve, melting into lava. For some reason, the room was filled with blue pulses of data. It was awe-inspiring and yet somewhat disconcerting at the same time. I didn't even feel myself slip away into sleep.
The dream:
I looked around, not sure where I was, though I felt like I had been there before. There was something... an assembly or dance of some sort... seemed like in a gymnasium. There were a lot of cute girls there. Suddenly I felt an arm around my shoulder. A girl dressed in a pink hoody was at my side. She had fair skin and blond hair, and she was slender. I didn't know her, but it really didn't matter to me. I put my arm around her waist. She seemed somewhat surprised. We talked a bit and we decided to go somewhere more private. We went into the girls bathroom, which was amusing because of some of the dirty looks I got from the females already in there. I suppose one or two of them yelled at me but again, at the time, I didn't care. I wrapped my arms around her, holding her close and pressing my body firmly against hers. She was pressed against one of the brick walls, painted a sort of bluish eggshell color. She felt so soft and warm, and I pressed my lips against hers as she held me tightly and kissed me back. My hands were inside that soft, cute hoody of hers and they were caressing her back as my lips hungrily kissed hers.
I wish I could remember the rest, if there was any more, but the next thing I remember was the scenery changing. The scenery was bits of Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War. So now I'm suddenly in a FPS, blue arcs of electricity shooting from the damaged Universal Constructor. Why I was there is beyond me, but I must have been JC Denton or something. There was a very cyberpunk feel to this part of the dream. Very Neuromancer.
Anyway, I was probably supposed to solve a puzzle or shoot someone but...
that girl
was there
and I was making out with her.
Even though there were sparks everywhere and the lighting was dim
her tongue and mine.
Even though there was danger
I was with her
and nothing else mattered
just us
and our passion
Then of course, people kept coming in and shaking me, trying to wake me up.
I tried to go back to sleep but to no avail. The dream was gone. I rarely dream. Or if I do, I rarely remember it. But this dream was so real. Was so tempting. It was quite possibly one of the greatest dreams I ever had. ...I can still almost feel her... almost taste her. *sighs wistfully*
And so now, I'm in my micro design class (AKA Digital Fundamentals).
I ended up sleeping in too much and missed the morning. The bus system was very inefficient and I had some time downtown so I stopped by the book store and picked up a copy of some magazines (mac addict, shonen jump, 2600 quarterly, and linux pro magazine). This will give me something to read for a while.
Oh, and the phone situation is taken care of. They misrepresented the information and they agreed to pay the ~$6000 data transfer fees.
I also took more city photos.
