Tevoc
- They are don't really have a gender/sex
-They are naturally attracted to things that are the same color as their soul orb
-They NEED to eat metal they CAN eat other things, but they are only a stall and will only sustain them for a few seconds before hunger starts again.
-Precious metals are prefered
-Tevocs only get hungry once a year, and it takes about 20 ponds of metal to make them full.
-Their ears wiggle when they are excited
-Their height can ranges from 5 feet-6 feet
-They normally live in caves/burrows
-They dig with the hand on their tail.

the orb under their neck is called the soul orb, for their species it is shown to help one Tevoc identify another. Tevocs are very simple and if you made a "Fake" soul orb that was convincing enough, they would believe you are also a Tevoc. Tevocs also show off the soul orb to show how many offspring they can have to other potential mates (1 floating remnant means only one, two means they can have two, and so on).
Tevocs have a large 3 fingered hand at the end of their tail, and use that to dig though the ground, both to make burrows, and to find metals to consume.
the energy from the metals is what they use to live.
The metal once eaten is completely destroyed, so there is no waste.
as for age they are biologically immortal, they can however get hurt, and they can be killed, but if they avoid all that, they’ll just keep trucking. XD
they can bite through metal to chew it, but they only chew to make it small enough to go down their throat. it takes about 20 ponds of metal to make them full and takes them a whole year to digest the metal.
Their insides are very tough so metal and other sharp objects do not hurt them.
Tevoc's mate by taking out on of the remnants of the soul orb and combining it with another Tevocs remnant.
Once the remnants combine they make a new soul orb. The soul orb then gets buried by the parents and 50 years later out pops a new Tevoc.
Tevocs do not have a "child" phase, when they pop up they are adults.
they get basic knowledge from their patents memories, not an encyclopedia amount but enough to know the basic language and what most things are.
Tevoc remnants are considered a high priced commodity among certain planets, due to the fact they are crystal like and glow, they are popular in jewelry. Often poachers will try and trick a Tevoc into giving it a remnant.
Because of this Tevocs are not very common.
