You may or may not have heard about this. Several months ago here in my home county of Trousdale Tennessee there a major drug bust. What looked like an ordinary A-frame house was in truth a façade covering up the entrance to a cave about 200 feet deep. Inside that cave authorities discovered a marijuana growing operation. With hundreds of plants each in it’s own planter and watering system. (the place even had an escape tunnel hidden under a hydraulically lifted boulder, a set up that would impress Batman) The estimated street value of the seized pot was easily in the millions. The two men arrested were held on a 5 million dollar bond.
Now there’s been an added twist to the story. Last night as I was turning in I heard fire engines. This morning when I woke up I heard on the news that the house with the pot cave burned down over night. Think it was an accident? I DON’T THINK SO!
